  22. Instructions.
  23.  
  24. This program was written and compiled with HiSoft Basic.
  25.  
  26. It will print out Invoices onto your own headed paper.
  27.

  29. Invoice No:   This is automaticaly incremented by one, each time an
  30.               invoice is printed. The invoice Number can be reset or
  31.               altered by editing  the small file called Invno.
  32.  
  33. Date:         Press return and todays date will be entered automaticaly.
  34.               This only works if you have a clock installed.
  35.  
  36. Customer Name:   Type in Customers details. There is plenty of space for
  37.                  long names.
  38.  
  39. Item:     This is where you enter the descriptions of the goods sold.
  40.           There are 14 fields (14 Items)  which will cover most uses.
  41.           You dont need to go through all the Item fields when you only
  42.           sell one item.  If you press return on an Item field without
  43.           entering data you will go straight to the P&P field (see later)
  44.  
  45. Cost:    Enter the amount here.
  46.          The program will do an Auto Total for you at the bottom of the
  47.          page so you wont need a calculator.
  48.  
  49. Post & Packing:  This is the last field, and it is here that you can enter
  50.                  any postage payable.

  52. Total:     This is where the total due will appear.
  53.  
  54. (please note that this program is geared to Non VAT Registered Companies)

  56. Press return after total and you will be asked "Information Correct"
  57.  
  58. Press Y and The Invoice will print.
  59. Press N and the program will blank the invoice and put you back to the top
  60.         for re-entry.

  63. We have been using this program for some months now and have found it
  64. simple to use and very reliable.

  67. Points to Remember.

  70. TO EXIT THE PROGRAM,  PRESS [ESC]  SEVERAL TIMES, YOU WILL BE RETURNED TO
  71. WORKBENCH AND THE CURRENT INVOICE NUMBER WILL BE SAVED.

  73. You will need to put a suitable printer driver in the Printers Directory
  74. (found in the Devs Directory) before printing out an invoice.

  77. The Spacing used for Continuous paper suits  80 column  Paper width 11"X
  78. 9.5"  (normal listing paper size).
